policy discussion question and need guidance to help me learn.

1. Participation Grade – Ongoing – Community of Interest (COI)
You are expected to stay current on global events and the threat environment by regularly consuming content via reputable sources such as newspapers, academic research, industry subject matter content (social media, podcasts, videos), and U.S./State and Local Government sources.
Your assigned twice-monthly post in this Community of Interest Discussion should relate to one of the TRM concentrations: national security, environmental security, or cybersecurity.
This is your space to explore themes from assigned materials and build on core class concepts.
You will apply the TRM lens to current events, academic research, and industry or incident trends of your own choosing. You will flex your analytic skill to craft succinct posts about current events with a nexus a specific concentrations. Your post will contribute to the overall knowledge of the group and conversations can evolve asynchronously.
A good post will display your understanding of how threats continue to evolve and develop within the concentration area.
A great post will expose fellow community members to topics that relate directly to the planning, response, or outcomes of threats within the concentration area.

3.During this second session we introduced some key concepts about threat mitigation policy and strategy frameworks, and examples of how they are created and operate.
What were the main concepts that drove the class instruction and discussion?
What needs clarification about the lecture and concept(s)?
Please use current examples, separate from the assigned materials. Identify a threat and suggest a framework we discussed to describe how you would utilize stakeholders or other important players to address it.
Your submission to this thread should be no longer than a paragraph or two. Feel free to insert links to your sources and other background materials.
We encourage you to comment on others insights and examples.
Last, don’t hesitate to use the clarification question, either of us will respond.
